    In 2006, the county finished GDP of 8.06 billion Yuan, sales income of large-scale industrial enterprises exceeded 14 billion Yuan, realizing total financial income of 0.72 billion Yuan, local financial revenue of 0.22 billion Yuan and rural per capita net income of 4546 Yuan. All indexes keeps higher increase. The total amount of large-scale industrial enterprise reached 344,among them 65 enterprises were newly added, realizing main business income of 14 billion yuan, profit and tax 0.72 billion yuan, increasing 35.8% and 26.2% respectively. Industrial Electricity Consumption reached 0.6 billion kilowatt-hour, increasing 21.7%. Aluminium extruded sections and stainless steel expanded further. The county was awarded “Top ten characteristic industrial group” and “Top ten industrial gathering zone of county-level economy”, establishing 12 municipal-level enterprise research centers, having 20 new technology enterprises with above provincial-level, 2 national free-inspection products, 8 famous brand products of shandong, and 7 shandong famous brands. 

    The base for export of big shed fruit, cow and modern industrial worker continuously expanded, newly developing big shed fruit of 7000 mu, with total area reaching 38 thousand mu; total amount of dairy cow on hand reached 36 thousand. It was awarded Top 50 county for national milk production, exporting labor services of 100 thousand people, including 1120 people sent out abroad. Agricultural leading enterprises developed to 216,including 17 enterprises above municipal-level. Green and healthy food base of 40 thousand mu were identified newly, 5000 people were trained to gain green certificate. The county strictly grasped “village by village” tap water engineering and rural methane construction, newly solved the difficulty of drinking water for 241 villages and 180 thousand people. Tap water penetration rate for natural village and population reached 68% and 80% respectively; 6400 methane tanks were newly built, the total amount reached 27 thousand. The county was appointed as provincial methane construction pilot county. Traffic condition got improving, Xinbai Road and Jiangpu Road (Daguan section) were complete and open to traffic, 114 roads connecting all villages with 275 kilometers were built newly,629 villages realized to connect with oil-way.200 villages finished new rural planning. Connecting village rate and access rate of Cable TV reached 88% and 42.8% respectively.
